COVID-19 POLICY

At The Great Yorkshire Maze we want all our visitors to have a fun time, and importantly a safe time. The health and wellbeing of our visitors and staff is of paramount importance.
We have been monitoring the guidance over recent weeks from the Government and Public Health England, and planning our event in accordance with that.

Entry to the Great Yorkshire Maze

We implement socially-distanced queuing at the entrance, as necessary.

We have clearly marked In and Out lanes at the entrance.

Visitors are encouraged to use hand sanitisers as they enter and leave the site.

Mazes

Both the Yorkshire Rose Maze and the Scarecrow Mini-Maze have paths that are 1.8m wide, allowing for people to pass with 1m social distancing.

Funfair

Rides are operated with social distancing in mind, and family groups will be seated together.

We carry out regular and thorough cleaning of funfair rides, game stall hook-a-duck sticks and flip-a-frog mallets, tills, counters, card machines and tokens.

Visitors are advised to wear masks on funfair rides.

Big Top Entertainment

We have picnic tables and benches both inside and outside the Big Top which are socially-distanced, and are wiped in between usage.

Toilets

We use self-contained Portaloos which are cleaned on a regular basis.

General

Visitors who are accompanied by children are responsible for supervising them
at all times and ensuring they follow social distancing guidelines.

Perspex screens are used at box office, tills and food service areas.

We use ‘put down - pick up’ as much as possible, rather than passing goods hand
to hand.

There is signage around the site reminding visitors of the 1m social distancing rule,
and hand gel stations.

Face coverings can be purchased on site.

All staff wear masks and regularly use hand gel.

Contactless payments are encouraged at The Great Yorkshire Maze.

Please Note

You should not visit The Great Yorkshire Maze if you feel unwell or have any of the
symptoms of Covid-19.
